Compatibility testing successfully completed between Newport Networks and Nortel
Newport Networks, the developer of carrier-class VoIP session controllers, is pleased to announce that its 1460 session controller (Software Release 1.5) was awarded a Certificate of Compatibility from Nortel*.
The 1460 session controller with Software Release 1.5, was awarded a Certificate of Compatibility after completing laboratory interoperability testing with Nortel's Multimedia Communication Server(MCS)5200 (Software Release 3.0) and Communication Server(CS)2000 (Software Release SN07). The 1460 session controller will now carry the Nortel compatible product designation.
*Nortel is a trademark of Nortel Networks.
