Newport breaks into the Taiwanese Market with CTC Union Distribution Agreement

Chepstow, UK. 2nd December, 2005. Newport Networks, the developer of carrier-class session border controllers, has signed a distribution agreement with CTC Union of Taiwan to attack the booming Taiwan broadband service provider market. As part of the agreement CTC Union has placed an order for equipment to trial with the fast growing Taiwan service provider community.

Taiwan's telecom market has been expanding rapidly since liberalization. Competition has brought more choice and better services to customers at lower prices.
